Get to Know Dr. Ryan Cooper
A native of Arlington, TX, Dr. Ryan Cooper offers exceptional care while helping our patients remain as comfortable and pain-free as possible during their procedures. He truly appreciates the faith that our dental practice has in him and enjoys every day working alongside a talented and passionate group of tooth experts. You’ll find him helping Dr. Ahn during surgeries to ensure each patient gets the treatment they need while experiencing a pleasant visit. Where Did You Study?
Dr. Cooper studied at Southwestern University for his bachelor's degree. He later attended the University of Texas at Houston Medical School to achieve his Doctor of Medicine degree in Anesthesiology. Today, he is a board-certified anesthesiologist with a Texas Medical License, providing sedation dentistry and general anesthesia for patients undergoing extensive or multiple treatments.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Whenever he isn’t at the practice helping patients feel comfortable during dental visits, Dr. Cooper spends his time with his children and beautiful wife—who is also an anesthesiologist! They also have a German shepherd and a corgi that they love to take on walks. He also enjoys watching and cheering on his kids during their baseball and basketball games. He loves being outdoors and doing activities like hiking, biking, camping, going to the lake, and snow skiing. He is also a big fan of live music. One fun fact about him: he won’t ever put anything in his mouth unless he’s smelled it first!
